It builds on the tale, The Death of Koschei the Deathless, also known as Maria Morevna. This book is an oddity, and for half the time I had no idea what was going on but I loved it. The author used the stakes at play so well, it sums itself up with the line: "There's always more to take."ģ. The first book wasn't lit, but this one got me so bad. This is the second book in The Remnant Chronicles. This book is long, but the story is so stuck with me. It takes you across Istanbul, Budapest, and Eastern Europe in what feels like a travel journal. ![]() ![]() It is a travel story narrated by an unnamed female, main character as they try to unravel the truth behind her fathers strange letters, and several generations of historians that have hunted for the truth about Vlad the Impaler (or Dracula).
